Game developers Corey and Lori Cole (of Quest for Glory fame) are deep in development on Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption, a blend of point-and-click adventure game elements and RPG game elements with 3D graphics that will release for Windows, Mac and Linux in early 2016.
Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption is also chock full of puns, quirky humor, and charm (kind of their hallmarks). That makes me happy.
There’s currently a Kickstarter for the game that ends on June 16, 2015. They are asking for $100K and are a bit over $80K with around 10 days left. I certainly hope they make it.
You can learn more about the game on their website at http://hero-u.com (and, of course, on the Hero-U Kickstarter page).
The Coles have provided two demos for the game: a Gameplay Demo (called the “Break In Room”) and a Combat Prototype. These can be downloaded for Windows, Mac and Linux here.
I’ve created a handy dandy let’s play video of both demos for you:
Thanks for watching!
