Last year I undertook my first Inktober and made a post about the experience along with my 31 daily Inktober drawings. As a recap, from the Inktober website: “Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month… post it on any social media account you want or just post it on your refrigerator. The point is to share your art with someone. :)”
This year, I did it again. I found myself anticipating October rolling around so I could do it. And it was just as enjoyable of a challenge (if not more enjoyable). I still don’t really consider myself an artist, but it’s interesting to see the differences between last year and this one. I’ve also been doodling more in general and bought a couple of sketchbooks a few months ago.
Here are this year’s 31 drawings. Like last year, I used the “prompt” Inktober method where you use their list of prompt words for a drawing theme for each day.
